SJTA – Exclusive Representative For All Teachers

SJTA, as the exclusive representative for all San Juan Unified School District classroom teachers, nurses, librarians, counselors, summer school teachers, Head Start and Child Development Center teachers, Adult Ed., Independent Study, and Home and Hospital teachers, has negotiated a comprehensive contract with the SJUSD.

All members should have a copy of the current collective bargaining agreement (contract). Please feel free to contact SJTA with any questions you may have regarding the contract.

SJTA and SJUSD have agreed to maintain a living contract subject to year round negotiations for purposes of modifications based on the evolutionary changes that develop in the teaching profession.
